Defeat

Chester City played their re-arranged Puma Youth Alliance game this morning at Tranmere Rovers Raby Vale Training Ground.

In heavy conditions, Tranmere were the run away winners by 3 goals to nil.

The first goal came on the half hour mark and after a free kick when John Corrigan drilled it home to make it 0-1

In the 64th minute, Alan Creswell doubled the Tranmere advantage and then 4 minutes later Corrigan got his brace to make it 0-3.

In fairness, The Prentonians were dominant for long periods and with City only displaying brief spells of endeavour.

The game was a home fixture, but agreement was reached to play the match at Tranmere's venue to allow for a quick turnaround after the original date fell foul of the weather last weekend.

FT: Chester City U18 0 Tranmere Rovers U18 3
