Article Date: 4 Dec 2006 We welcome Boston United to the Saunders Honda Stadium on Tuesday night as we return to Coca Cola League Two action. The Pilgrims have struggled so far this term, having only won 4 games from 19 played thus far. They have had their share of off pitch distractions this season but will be encouraged by their last game when they attained a 1-1 draw with Hereford United at York Street. Steve Evans knows that he needs to kick start the season for Lincolnshire outfit as the half season mark rapidly approaches. Boston United will not be able to field on loan striker Drewe Broughton as their is a clause in the loan deal which bars him from playing against his contractural base club. Defender Lee Canoville could feature after he came through a reserves game against Rushden and Diamonds. Canoville has been missing since for nearly 3 months with knee ligament damage. Vetran Pilgrim winger David Farrell is also hoping to make a start. City will have the services of Gregg Blundell at their disposal. The striker has served his one game suspension and is ready for inclusion in the team. Meanwhile, Lee Steele will miss the game after being sent off for a second bookable offence at Gigg Lane on Saturday last. Long term injury victims, Glenn Cronin and Rob Marsh Evans continue to be sidelined as they overcome foot injuries. The game kicks off at 7.45pm. Match Quick Links
