City's Youth make progress

Victors in Youth Cup
Well done to Jim Hackett and the lads as they beat Farsley Celtic in the FA Youth Cup this evening at The Saunders Honda Stadium.
It didn't start well for City, they went behind with just 2 minutes on the clock. but an equaliser by Paul McManus in the 10th minute and a brace by Steve Thorpe sealed it for the Blues.
It ended Chester City 3 Farsley Celtic 1 and City enter the hat for the next round where they will face an away trip to either York City or Leigh RMI.
