Youth team are victors at Argoed

Jim Hackett watched his youth side beat a Mynydd Isa team made up many of their senior squad by a comfortable margin of 4-0 at the Argoed Sports Ground this evening.

On a difficult playing surface and in extremely warm conditions, two first half goals for Jordan Barnes (son of the ex-Liverpool player) and a goal for Kevin Roberts had City going in 3-0 at the break.

Brett Robson sealed the fate for the Welshmen with a late second half goal when he rounded the keeper to make it 4-0 to Chester City Youth.
