Chester City Football Club

Chester City manager Simon Davies has invited former Tranmere Rovers and Chesterfield striker Wayne Allison to assist him with first team coaching duties at the Deva Stadium.

The 39-year-old Yorkshireman will take over the duties previously undertaken by former Assistant Manager, Huw Griffiths, who left the club last week.

The Blues, who have lost their opening three competitive matches of the campaign, are next in action this coming Saturday, when they travel to the Don Valley Stadium to face Rotherham United.
