City Centre Club Shop Under DevelopmentArticle Date: 12 May 2008 Development of a new club shop based in the City Centre will begin soon. We are delighted to announce that Chester City Council has agreed to lease the former Post Office on Watergate Street, opposite Bar Lounge.The shop, which will be run in association with Gazelle Sports, is to sell club merchandise which was previously available from Queensferry Sports in Deeside including football shirts, trainers and club merchandise.
It will also sell match tickets, season tickets and lottery tickets. Managing director Bob Gray is excited about the new project. He said: "There is a lot of refurbishment that needs doing. It's going to take time." Signs have been placed in the shop window which say: "Chester City Official Club shop opening soon in association with Gazelle Sports." Bob Gray added: "The shop will be in easy locality for the fans to get to. It's worthwhile for fans who can go and buy what they need. We're trying to give the fans what they want." Latest News
