Davies Cannot Wait For Next SeasonArticle Date: 4 May 2008 Chester City Manager Simon Davies has told reporters that he simply cannot wait for the new season to start after watching Chester's goalless draw with Cheshire neighbours Macclesfield Town. The former Manchester United star who last month was handed the Deva Stadium hot seat on a two year contract believes he can take a lot of positives from our last three games. "We've ended the season with three goalless draws, but if you take the positives from that, we've had three clean sheets, which has been enough to see us stay up," explained Davies. "It was a lethargic display against Macclesfield Town, but the lads gave everything on Tuesday night and I think that all the frustration was finally released, which made for a lacklustre display.
