Puma Youth Alliance league leaders Blackpool further cemented their position at the top of the table this weekend when they saw off the challenge of posed by Simon Davies and his City youth side.
At half time, Blackpool were already 1-0 ahead and they doubled their advantage in the second period. Lloyd Ellams will rue the missed chances he had for Chester.
Meanwhile, City's Centre of Excellence had a better day winning 5 out of 7 of their games against Port Vale.
