Chester City U18's 1 Wigan Athletic U18's 0

The conditions at Airbus this morning can only be described as testing, that didn't stop the football however with City hosting Wigan Athletic this morning in a game which was brought forward 24 hours.

A solitary goal from first year player Ryan Williams separated the teams and this latest win is Simon Davies's third on the trot for his youth side.

Meanwhile, the City Youth side are back in action next Wednesday when they face York City in the third round of the FA Youth Cup, should they beat the Minstermen then City can look forward to an away challenge from either Southampton or Tottenham Hotspur who City knocked out
last year in round two.
