City youngsters draw with Sadlers

City's under 18 team were hosts to Walsall as they made the shortish journey to Chester this morning for a Puma Youth Alliance game.

It was a recall to youth team duties for Paul McManus today as City had every intention of unsaddling the Sadlers at Airbus, Broughton.

Walsall have won their last seven games on the bounce and Simon Davies was pleased to end that run as City cruised to a goal-less draw.

The young Blues put up a particulary impressive second half display, a half in which they were quite aggrieved not to have been awarded two claims for a penalty.
